We will say that Adrienne is a farm-to-table, organically raised designer. With roots in upstate New York, she has spent her life in the arts — from dance classes as a child, to violinist in a youth orchestra performing up and down the east coast, to finally focusing on theater production. A product of the prestigious and rigorous Theater Design/Technology conservatory program at SUNY Purchase, Adrienne graduated with a BFA in Scenic Design.
Adrienne transplanted herself to Manhattan after graduation, working as a freelance scenic designer and artist. Her experience ranged from building and painting her own designs in off-Broadway theaters, serving as production designer for independent films, and working as assistant and associate set designer on regional and Broadway productions, including the recent revivals of West Side Story and Gypsy.
Her knowledge and experience was passed along to young students at Manhattan’s LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts where Adrienne worked as a teaching artist in the Technical Theater department for 5 years. A desire for fresh challenges led Adrienne to Clickspring Design, where her experience in collaboration and production is put to excellent use ushering our broadcast designs through the drafting process and scene shops to their final destination in the studio.
In her spare time you will find Adrienne in her Brooklyn home cooking with veggies she grew in her garden, teaching her cat some new computer skills, or camping in the Catskills. You can take a girl out of the country, but…
