Set to broadcast multiple primetime programs in the same way that VICE News has broken convention within the nightly news genre, this 1,200 square foot project aimed to give VICE News Tonight an unconventional edge, while reinforcing the value of authenticity.
Working with a tight turnaround for VICE, Clickspring focused on stylistic choices that would best reflect the brand; establishing a minimalist design that incorporates strategic AV elements. Sleek and flexible with a modern color scheme, the space incorporates portrait LED displays alongside landscape monitors inlayed into the scenic walls.
The flexibility of the scenic walls and engrained AV technology accommodate multiple looks through the studio. Visually engaging by mixing warmer wood materials alongside industrial elements, the studio maintains an architectural and high-quality look.
VICE News Tonight marked the debut broadcast in March of 2020, in Times Square New York.
