CNN Cap Set

We’re pleased to see the debut of our complete redesign for the CNN DC Cap Set — the studio is a smaller neighbor of the Washington Studio, and as such exudes a similar, clean-lined aesthetic and a palette of black and metallics accented with white and red. A prominent structural column clad with flexible LED display becomes a central feature to the studio, and an expansive LED vista corner and three portrait-format pivoting monitors further instill the space with updated technology. These elements work together with reconfigurable, modular, minimal desk units to provide crucial shooting flexibility.

CNN Heroes 2017 Emmy

We can’t think of a better way to end a busy week than by adding another Emmy Award to our collection! Congratulations to CNN Heroes for winning in the Outstanding Lighting Direction and Scenic Design category, and to our talented pals at The Lighting Design Group for another great collaboration!

ArchDaily Features Barrel House 1-14

Our recently completed Barrel House 1-14 continues to make the rounds online! This time we’re celebrating a feature by ArchDaily, the most visited architecture website in the world.

Juxtaposing the rugged heavy timber-framed building with the exacting detail of a steel and glass framing system, the design brings together the historic, functional authenticity of the barrel house with detailing suitable for contemporary visitors engaged in close conversation.

Here guests will have the opportunity to explore and mingle with many of the personalities that continue to make Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey the American icon that it is.

Interior Design Magazine Feature

We’re toasting to being featured in Interior Design Magazine’s recent article on standout adaptive reuse projects!

A multi-phase project to expand and enhance the Jack Daniel’s Distillery property in response to an increasing number of visiting loyalists resulted in a close collaboration between Clickspring and the Brown-Forman team. Design solutions focus directly on the visitor experience and authentic brand communication objectives, and ultimately align with a comprehensive masterplan vision for the property.

Within Barrel House 1-14, this hybrid solution places a refined sampling environment of glass and steel within an active, rugged, and functional barrel house. Visitors are fully engaged, able to taste whiskeys while physically surrounded by aromas and textures of the aging process.

PromaxBDA Award Wins

June 12, 2015

Taking two out of three wins for excellence in set design, it was a good night for Clickspring and NBC at the PromaxBDA North America Marketing and Design Awards!

The XXII Olympic Winter Games studio for NBC Sports earned the gold, while NBC’s Meet the Press took bronze. We’d say that’s worth celebrating.

Congrats to the project teams for their tremendous efforts!
